The Exotic Vinegar Chicken

Though i have never met him but his grand son is one of my very good friend and this a family recipe he had shared with me.


1 bottle of white vinegar
5-7 whole dried red chillies
1 kg chicken
300 gms cream
2-3 tej patta
1" cinnamon
10-12 kadhi patta
2 tsp kali rai
2 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp jeera powder
5-6 onion chopped
2" ginger chopped
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp methi powder
300 gms milk
1 tsp dhania powder
1 cup coconut milk


put the vinegar and chicken in a pot and boil till the knife can be easily inserted in the chicken meat and you can feel the bone inside, usually it takes about 10 min of boiling, please do it according to your own experiences.
when the boiling is done the chicken should not remain in the vinegar at all, soak it immedeately by a sieve, now make shallow cuts on the chicken as it is done for roasting.
Preparing marination
now put the kadhai on the flame and put about half the amount of cream and take half the amount of all the spices sepprated salt to taste, now make a thick paste of this all, now when the paste is done apply on the chicken as a marinate, and then the chicken to be kept in the freeze for about 1 hour.

Now take the rest of the cream and spices and chopped kadhi patta and fry them well, and cook till it is dry now add the marinated chicken in it and cook till absolute dry now add coconut milk and milk and then cover cook till the chicken is done.
garnish will tomatoes large chunks and green coriander leaves.

serve with roti or rice
