This Special section features unique recipes which you wouldn't commonly find anywhere else. It has a mixed collection of dry and curry dishes from snacks to main-course meals.

* 3 tbsps Oil
* 1 tbsp Sugar
* Rock Salt to taste
* ½ tsp Cumin seeds
* 3/4 kg Pumpkin, cubed
* ½ tsp Turmeric powder
* 3 Red Chillies, broken into pieces


1. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, red chillies and turmeric powder.
2. Add the pumpkin pieces and stir-fry.
3. Add ½ cup water, sugar and salt.
4. Cook till done.

Tip: Smoke Mustard oil first before using for preparing vegetables etc.. by heating to a point till light white smoke emerges from it. This would remove the potency from the oil.
