Heritage is a community dedicated to making education affordable to everyone, regardless of socioeconomic class. It also understands that many people need to work while they are in school, and so classes are frequently available in the evening and on weekends. Although the main campus is in Toppenish, Heritage also has buildings in Tri-Cities, South Seattle, and Moses Lake. Students benefit from small class sizes that average only eleven students, as well as from talented professors who often have professional experience in their fields. Heritage offers events, research opportunities, and project initiatives through the Center for a New Washington, the Center for Native Health and Culture, and other campus-wide events.
